My running had taken a back seat lately to all to Crossfit Ive been doing so it was nice yesterday to get out of town and head up to
Lynn Valley for a little trail run. The valley is a short drive from Vancouver and I headed out there with a couple of friends. We didnt realise ,however, how deep the snow is up there still! So the run turned into a sort of scramble walk. Its a bit nerve wracking running over a tiny wooden bridge over a stream when there is a narrow ridge of snow on that bridge that puts you another 3 feet above the water!
I didn't have my camera but found these shots to give you an idea of what its like. We were out for an hour but only ran about 6km ..thats how slow we had to go. Still, it was fun!
