I have been a bad blogger. My brothers are putting me to shame so here's a selection of summer camping trips , visits to Oslo and much, much more !!!!!!
Camping Aug '09
So I suppose I should start at the beginning and introduce my latest flame. Everyone this is Mitch Baker. We met in June and did a few camping trips over the summer ...local and across the border to Washington State.

our campsite in Elaho Valley ..about 2 hours from Vancouver

Yummy camp breakfast ..bacon and eggs! and leftover carrots

It was very very very hot this weeekend plus the horse flies were out in droves
Mitch retreated to the truck to eat his breakfast in peace away from bugs

Camping Trip #2
Second trip later this summer was across the border to Washington State . We did the Cascade Loop which is a drive through some stunning mountain ranges and forests.

Hoover Dam
The trusty TomTom showed us the way out of the mountains and across the plains to the Hoover Dam. I had actually been here before with Matt on a driving trip we did one year when I was still living in Saskatchewan (1992???)

This last photo was actually the last picture taken with my
camera as it decided to jump out of someones hands and land lens
down on a rock. Oh dear .

and this is the camera after its accident.... hmmmm not good.

So I loaded my SD card into MB's camera but for some reason the pics came out blue.

This is at Lake Wenatchee which was really nice. This was taken Sunday morning and it was calm and clear.Quite a contrast to the afternoon before when it was blowing a gale and we were bodysufing in the waves!
