Whistler Weekend

Last weekend Juris and I went up to Whistler for a ski weekend. Whistler is about a 2 hour drive north of vancouver on the Sea to Sky Highway .Vancouver is the host city for the 2010 Olympic Games and Whistler will be the venue for the Alpine Sports. There has been much controversy (of course) about Vancouver hosting the games and how much it is all going to cost us British Columbians.One of the major projects underway at the moment is the widening of the Sea to Sky
at a projected cost of ...take a deep breath ...$600 million!!!!!

Post Op Take 2

Minka had to be spayed this week. She did fine . She wouldn't leave the stitches alone though so I had to fashion a small post op jacket to wear around the house. The collar thingy didn't work very well. It wouldn't stay on her noodle neck

The Weather Today

  it was a beautiful,but chilly,day today.

  but around 4pm THICK FOG was rolling in  

    and by 5:30 when I arrived home the THICK FOG had settled into the bay ! Doesn't it look amazing!!!
