Nothing but Time

These rocks are painstakingly balanced by the same man each summer.
He spends all day down on the rocks at the 7km mark on the seawall of Stanley Park.
He has a portfolio of sculptures he's done in previous years
and a small collection plate. Locals and tourists are intrigued.





 

Interesting Fellow

I had a nice chat one afternoon with this cheeky
chap. His name's MoMo. He mentioned
something about having a long lost brother
than ran away some time ago.......
something about a Norwegian fishing boat and
a craving for open-face sandwiches........ 

Island Life

I had a wonderful week. I got in a couple of trail runs.

Trip to Hornby Island

This week I took a trip over to Hornby Island
to visit
my good friends Katy and Morley
and their baby boy Kazmer.


I had to get up very early and catch the first of 3 ferries I would take that day! Its quite a trek out to little Hornby .... from mainland BC to Vancouver Island is 2hours ....... then a 90 minute drive north to Buckley Bay to catch the boat to Deman Island and then the final trip over to Hornby . A 6 hour trip in all !








 
 


As i drove onto the ferry I couldn't help
remembering what happend last year .......
when a ferry crashed in Horseshoe Bay.
