Last weekend Juris and I went up to
Whistler for a ski weekend. Whistler is about a 2 hour drive north of vancouver on the
Sea to Sky Highway .Vancouver is the host city for the
2010 Olympic Games and Whistler will be the venue for the Alpine Sports. There has been much controversy (of course) about Vancouver hosting the games and how much it is all going to cost us British Columbians.One of the major projects underway at the moment is the
widening of the Sea to Sky
at a projected cost of ...take a deep breath ...$600 million!!!!!
