Trip to Hornby Island

This week I took a trip over to Hornby Island
to visit
my good friends Katy and Morley
and their baby boy Kazmer.


I had to get up very early and catch the first of 3 ferries I would take that day! Its quite a trek out to little Hornby .... from mainland BC to Vancouver Island is 2hours ....... then a 90 minute drive north to Buckley Bay to catch the boat to Deman Island and then the final trip over to Hornby . A 6 hour trip in all !








 
 


As i drove onto the ferry I couldn't help
remembering what happend last year .......
when a ferry crashed in Horseshoe Bay.
